The Shaolin Wahnam Institute is the school of Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit and is named after two of his teachers, Sifu Lai Chin Wah and Sifu Ho Fatt Nam. With schools in an ever increasing number of countries, the institute seeks to spread the traditional Shaolin arts of kungfu and chi kung. After many requests Grandmaster Wong has also started teaching tai chi chuan, an art that, although seen by some as from a separate lineage, can also trace it's roots back to the Shaolin Temple.

Grandmaster Wong is the 4th generation successor from the Shaolin Monastery of China. He has taught the Shaolin arts for more than 35 years and has thousands of students worldwide. He received the "Qigong Master of the Year" award at the Second World Congress on Qigong held in San Francisco in November 1997. Read more ›››

Members of Shaolin Wahnam are extremely lucky to be part of a rich and fascinating history that traces directly back to the Shaolin Temple. Two Shaolin lineages, one from the monk Jiang Nan, and the other from the monk Gee Seen, were reunited 150 years after the burning of the temple.
